World view of population and survival level

World food prices hit a record in January 2011. For example, wheat doubled since last summer. The countries with the current civil unrest aren't able to meet their survival needs which includes food, clothes and a roof over their head. The unsettledness can only continue when this level of existence is breeched.

Here are some interesting world statistics that I saw recently. 57% of the population are Asian, 21% European, 14% American, and 8% African. There are 70% caucasians and 30% non-caucasians. 59% of the world's wealth rests with the United States. And just imagine 2 billion of the world population cannot read. The disproportion here stands out in diverse ways. This path will promote change that will be hard to accept by many.

At some point within the next handful of years, water will be the main concern versus oil. The priorities in the U.S. do not include it, but given the world situation it should be near the top.
